President Kaczynski of Poland in Paris

President Lech Kaczynski is leaving for Paris tonight. The main topics of his discussions on Monday with French President Nicolas Sarkozy and Prime Minister Francois Fillon will be the EU Reform Treaty, European energy security and future cooperation in the Schengen zone.



President Kaczynski is also to decorate with Polish distinctions over thirty French citizens merited for their outstanding assistance to victims of the tragic bus accident involving Polish pilgrims near Grenoble in July. The ceremony will be held in the Polish embassy in Paris with the attendance of the French head of state.



Lech Kaczynski is scheduled for meetings with representatives of the Polish ethnic community in France. The President will also visit the Polish Catholic Mission and deliver a lecture at the European-American
